Brooklyn Projects and New Balance Numeric Unveil Limited Edition NB Numeric 480 High: A Tribute to Founders Roots in Heavy Metal Music

Los Angeles, CA February 26, 2025 Brooklyn Projects, the iconic skate shop known for its cultural influence and dedication to craftsmanship, has teamed up with New Balance Numeric, the skateboarding division of New Balance, to release a limited-edition collaboration on the NB Numeric 480 High. Paying homage to the roots of Brooklyn Projects founder, DeLuca, this collaboration blends the worlds of skateboarding and heavy metal music.

The design of the NB Numeric 480 High draws direct inspiration from DeLuca's personal style during his early days, with key influences coming from denim and leather attire typically associated with heavy metal culture. These elements have been seamlessly incorporated into the design, giving the iconic 480 High a fresh yet nostalgic reimagination by Brooklyn Projects and renowned designer, Dom. The sleek silhouette, inspired by the fierce aesthetics of the music scene, celebrates the balance between grit, fashion, and skate culture.

Each pair of this exclusive release is limited to only 574 pairs, an homage to New Balances first-ever model, the 574. To complement the launch, Brooklyn Projects will be releasing two distinct colorways a bold Blue and a classic Black each comes with a special edition box by legendary artist Mike Lottie
