The Nike LeBron 21 "Purple Rain" is the launch colorway of LeBron Jamess twenty-first signature shoe with Nike Basketball that doubles as an ode to legendary musician Prince. Nicknamed after Princes iconic Purple Rain studio album while also inspired by the purple-and-yellow team uniform colors of Jamess NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Nike LeBron 21 of the same name features a Violet Dust-colored tumbled leather upper with Melon Tint accents on the Swoosh, middle eyestays, and heel. Jamess signature branding is seen on the tongue. A Purple Cosmos finish is applied to the Zoom Air cushioned heel portion of the midsole.
