Energy redirecting pods convert downward force into forward motion
The Nike Air Max 95 LeBron James - Lakers is a mismatched, Los Angeles Lakers-inspired colorway that pays homage to LeBron James appreciation for the classic running shoe. Released by Nike in April 2021, LeBron's Lakers edition of the Air Max 95 features a mismatched Lakers color palette of purple and yellow. The wavy suede panels found on the sides of the left shoe are dressed in Amarillo. The mesh and nylon on the tongue and eyelets, respectively, appear in black. The right shoe features the same design arrangement with Court Purple taking the place of the Amarillo shade. LeBrons signature crown logo adorns the tongue in the Air Max 95s split design on both the left and right shoe. A small white embroidered Swoosh appears on the collar. Court Purple accents the spine of the left shoe and Amarillo highlights the look of the spine on the right shoe. The mismatched theme continues on the visible Air units in the black rubber midsole.
